Falls Prevention Advice

At best, falling over hurts! At worst, you can break bones and do long-term damage. And, importantly, falls are not reserved solely for the frail and infirm.


Good balance, core strength and general muscular strength all contribute to reducing the risk of falls, but there are other things you can do that you may not have considered.


We have gathered some resources together that will, hopefully, provide interesting reading (and viewing) – from busting some myths about falls to exercises you can do; and from health & wellbeing to keeping your “environment” safe – all of which can either help to improve your balance and/or reduce your risk of falling.
