We Need Your Help

Please help us to raise money for a specialist treadmill for our gym.


Many of our members would benefit from a rehabilitation treadmill which offers slower speeds, larger walking surface and a low step up height. This treadmill will be useful for those with arthritis or injury, those walking at slower speeds and/or are nervous on a treadmill. The rehabilitation treadmill we are hoping to buy costs £4000 and is approved by the NHS.


We are putting on this cycling challenge to help us raise funds for this fantastic piece of kit.

The John O’Groats To Lands End Challenge

All we are asking you to do is spare a little of your time (and energy) on 14th October between the times of 9am-9pm.


We are not asking you to do the 603 miles yourself!


We want multiple people clocking up miles throughout the day until we reach our target. Whether you can spare 10 minutes or 3 hours, every minute will count.


We have 12 hours to complete the distance on 6-8 stationary bikes, this means 6-8 people can pedal at the same time and you can be off and on the bike as you wish – we will be encouraging rest periods – When you are off the bike, someone else can jump on.


We have created a timetable in blocks of 3 hours to give us an idea of the approximate time you will be here.

The choices are 9am – 12pm. 12pm-3pm, 3pm-6pm and 6pm-9pm. You can put your name in any column or more than one if you’d like to.


If you can help, we are asking you to collect sponsors from friends and family to help us get to our target. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.


Bottled water, coffee and tea will be complimentary on the day.


We will also hold a cake sale and an opportunity to buy MKCCG branded merchandise.


Once you have written your name on the form, please collect your sponsorship form from the admin office.
